Definitions:

Physical change: Any process involving a substance's change from one state to another with out alteration of chemical composition.

Physical Property: A property used to characterize physical objects.


Notes: Color, size, shape, texture, smell, taste, sound, melting point, freezing point, boiling point..etc are all examples of physical properties.

Formulas: None

Units: none

Everyday Example: Physical change= Ripping a piece of paper in half.
Physical Property= Rubber bands being stretchy.
